LIZZY BORDEN, TIM 'RIPPER' OWENS Audio Interviews Available

October 2, 2007

Shockwaves/HardRadio Podcast #21 — featuring interviews with Lizzy Borden and vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (ICED EARTH, BEYOND FEAR, ex-JUDAS PRIEST) conducted by host Bob Nalbandian — is available for download at this location (26 MB).

LIZZY BORDEN has just finished filming a video for the song "Tomorrow Never Comes". The clip was shot on location in downtown Los Angeles with director Kevin Mcvey and is described as "a haunted little tale."

This will be the first video from the band's forthcoming album, "Appointment with Death", due in the U.S. on October 30 via Metal Blade Records (November 5 in Europe). Appearing in the clip will be bandmembers Lizzy Borden, Joey Scott, Marten Andersson and Ira Black.

ICED EARTH's new album, "Framing Armageddon - Something Wicked Part I", sold 7,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release. It is the follow-up to 2004's "The Glorious Burden", which has shifted more than 70,000 copies in the U.S. to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"Framing Armageddon - Something Wicked Part 1" (cover artwork) expands the "Something Wicked" storyline first introduced in the trilogy of the same name appearing on the 1998 release, "Something Wicked This way Comes". "Framing Armageddon" will be followed in February/March 2008 by the band's ninth full-length studio release, tentatively titled "Revelation Abomination - Something Wicked Part 2" , continuing where "Framing Armageddon" leaves off.
